WHAT IS EMPLOYEES UNION?
WHO ARE WE? – BAYER EMPLOYEES UNION
Bayer Employees Union is Employees Union founded by employees of Bayer Sp. z o.o. Despite the fact that we are an organization independent of the Employer, legally as an employee organization we are part of the enterprise.
Bayer Employees Union was established on September 30, 2019, founded by ten Employees from the office and from the field of the so-called Founding Committee.
The Founding Committee appointed the Audit Committee and the Board of the Employees Union was appointed. In the next step, we informed the Management Board of Bayer Sp. z o. o. and all Employees about the start of our activity.

Already so many employees are represented and protected by ZZ Bayer.
OF EMPLOYEES OF BAYER POLAND BELONG TO ZZ BAYER
We represent a large part of employees, thanks to which the Employer needs to take into account our postulates.
Today, as an organization operating within Bayer Polska, we associate office and field employees.
We are Employees Union operating within Bayer Poland, we also belong to the huge family of employee organizations Bayer Europa Forum, operating in all Bayer branches in Europe.

High union density gives us a stronger bargaining chip to negotiate better working conditions, rights and remuneration for all Employees. Yes, the law requires the Employer to negotiate in good faith with Union representatives. We, in turn, ask for Your opinion and respect Your voice.
A STRONG TRADE UNION MEANS BETTER RIGHTS
We belong to the Confederation of Labor OPZZ, which consults the new law regulations on labor and Employees at the Ministry of Labor.
YOUR WORKPLACE WILL BE SAFER
The employer is obliged to consult with the Employees Union the termination of the contract of an Employee employed under a contract for an indefinite period.
YOU MAY NOT BEAR ANY CONSEQUENCES
The Act on Trade Unions explicitly prohibits unequal treatment of Employees on the grounds of belonging to a Trade Union or remaining outside of it. This means that the Employer cannot discriminate against You in any way, even if he/she found out about your Trade (Employees) Union membership.
SAVINGS IN A COMPANY DOESN'T START WITH EMPLOYEES
The intention to terminate working conditions or pay for less favorable conditions and collective redundancies must also be consulted with the Employees Union, which gives us the opportunity to intervene and negotiate with the Employer.
WE WILL INTERVEN IF YOU FEEL HARMED
If You are a member of our organization, we can also, at Your request, represent You directly when your rights are violated or help you negotiate better working conditions.
WHY DID WE CHOOSE OPZZ CONFEDERATION OF LABOR?
Confederation of Labor is a Trade (Employees) Union of the 21st century that fights for our rights, develops, trains and inspires!
It has over 20 years of experience in actions on behalf of employees. During this time, nearly 700 trade union organizations have joined the Labor Confederation!
In addition, the membership fee is only PLN 6, not 1% of your remuneration.
Basic legal support is provided as part of membership fees.

Joining the union does not automatically give you all your rights. In order to avoid a situation where someone becomes our Member just because they have to deal with their case, we have introduced a one-month waiting period - we deal with personal matters of new Members only after a month of joining.
We are here for You and we will support You with all our strength in employee matters.

PREMIUMS
- Members of a Trade (Employees) Union may deduct from their income, which is the basis for calculating the tax, the membership fees paid to the Trade Unions, in the amount not exceeding PLN 300 in a calendar year (the above regulation entered into force on January 1, 2022).
- The monthly premium is PLN 10 - payable by the end of a given month.
- It is important to enter the membership ID (ZB-XXXX) that you received during registration in the title of the transfer.
- It is important not to omit the dash and not to add spaces in the ID record. It is extremely important for the correct settlement of your payments because the contribution fees are settled automatically.
- When You part ways with the Company, we will take care of Your employment rights until the last day of your work. If You have not left the Union before the end of Your employment, we ask You to pay Your contributions until the end of Your employment.

IMPORTANT
- Timely payment of fees is the responsibility of each member of the Employees Union.
- We are obliged to transfer PLN 6 from each membership fee to OPZZ.
- People who have not paid their contributions receive email reminders from the “Szybkie Składki”.
- Untimely payment of contributions harms our activities - we cannot make payments to OPZZ from the contributions of Members paying on time.
- Arrears in payments also mean more administrative work, which translates into less time to work on employee matters.
